Macro Bugs

What a day!  The students worked hard on their paintings which involved a combination of composition, pattern, and abstract art.  The students were introduced to the word macro, where they were able to explore a few images of macro insect photography.  For their project today, they were to use a viewfinder in order to define the bounds of a composition in the bug-image they chose.  From there, the students painted what they saw in their viewfinders and came up with some outstanding work!
