Important Update for Parents & Students

Good Afternoon Parents & Saturday Art School Students!

Allison and Jillian have some very exciting news. For class on Saturday, April 6th - students will be taking a field trip to the Frost Entomological Museum on Campus. With that being said, we plan on meeting as usual in 201 Patterson (our classroom) between 9:00-9:15, and approximately departing for the museum around 9:15 to walk together as a class. If you arrive late or after that time, parents can feel free to walk over with their students to the museum. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the Patterson building.

Also, if any parents are interested in attending the trip and chaperoning, feel free to tag along. We will have a graduate student from the Entomology department guiding our students through the museum, showing them cool insects, and planning activities for them. All are welcome to join.

For those who have never heard of the museum on campus before, I have attached a link below for more information on it. The museum is typically closed on the weekends to the public, but the graduate tour guide is offering us private access. It is going to be very fun and we are extremely excited!

We look forward to this trip in the upcoming weeks, and we'll talk more about it in the next class. As a reminder, for class on Saturday, March 23rd - we will be doing a lot of painting and collaborative work, so dress appropriately.

Thank you!
