Art Exhibition: Zoller Gallery, Saturday April 27th 2013

Hello everyone! In case you missed the art show, Allison and Jillian took a few pictures for everyone to look at. It was amazing putting together such an incredible exhibition that was full of a lot of talent. It really summed up our great eight weeks together, and we hope all of our students felt proud standing next to all of their works of art.

Final Day!

Hello Parents and Students!

First, Ally and I would like to say thank you for a wonderful semester.  It was a fantastic experience and hope that our students can say the same.  We had a great time and can't believe it's over already!  Every one of our students had such unique personalities and wild imaginations that surprised us every week.  We can't believe how much the students grew over the semester and hope they enjoyed themselves in our classroom.  Thank you for making this a great memory for us at our last semester at psu.

Today, we decided to make this a fun day where students were able to pick any of the projects (that we did throughout the semester) and either finish old work or start something new.  We had a printmaking table, where students carved into styrofoam and used brayers and ink slabs to make prints.  We had a clay table, where students produced amazing works of different creatures that were made out of model magic.  We had a pet rock table, where students were able to paint on rocks and experience a different surface.  We had a collaborative drawing station, where a long sheet of paper was stretched out over three tables and students were able to draw what they wanted.  At this station, we made prompts like pirate bug, copycat bug, furry bug, etc.

**DON'T FORGET!***

We handed out an invitation for our exhibition and reception on Friday, April 27th @10-1130 in the Zoller Gallery (Located in the Visual Arts Building). The show will be open from April 24-April 26 from 10AM-4PM.  If you did not receive an invitation, I will post a photo of the card for more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
